Manually - Moving the repository to a different server machine
Note:
If a repository already exists, you will need to keep it until all agents have safely transferred to the new one you are about to create.

The Process:
At the new computer (the one that will host the new Prefix repository), logon as administrator

Write down the computer name (this will be your repository name).
This machine must run a "Server" operating system (Windows 2000 or higher, 2003 server etc'... It cannot be an XP machine!)

Create a folder named LTLCT
Under this folder create 2 sub folders with these names:
LT_LOG$
and
LT_CMD$
Right click on the LT_LOG$ folder,
Share this folder (using its current name as the share name).
Under "Permissions" grant "Full Control" to "everyone",
Under "Security" grant "Full Control" to "everyone",
Click "Ok"

Right click on the LT_CMD$ folder,
Share this folder (using its current name as the share name).
Under "Permissions" grant "Full Control" to "Administrators" and to all those you wish to permit using a PrefixNE console, and "Read Only" to "everyone",
Under "Security" grant "Full Control" to "everyone" (permissions already handle access rights to this folder no need to restrict security here),
Click "Ok"

Copy RamsS.exe, RamsC.exe, AutoIt.exe and License.dat files from your previous repository (or from a fresh downloaded file from our web site) into the LT_CMD$ folder.

The new repository is now set.

To make the existing agents transfer to it:

Option 1:
Open a console managing the old repository
Go to "Configuration" -> "Redirect Agents", tick the "Everyone" checkbox on the "Select by" group.
In the edit box type the name of the new repository host (computer name)
Click "Apply" button.
Option 2:
Open a console managing this repository,
Click the "Install" button at the top toolbar.
Select one or more installation methods from the red panel on the left.

To verify all agents have transferred to the new repository:
Open a console managing the old repository,
Once all agents appear with gray, red  (in minutes) or yellow icons (after several days), you can remove the old repository by deleting its shares.
Open a console managing the new repository,
Once all agents appear on the list (no matter with which icon) it means they have registered on the new repository and are set to operate with it.
